If frozen yogurt healthy?

Many people assume that because frozen yogurt is different from ice cream, it is a healthy dessert. But which one is really healthier? Ice cream is made with heavy cream, and so it often has a higher fat content than frozen yogurt. However, while frozen yogurt may be lower in fat, it is often higher in sugar content. Because fat contributes more calories per gram than sugar, ice cream is often a bit higher in total calories than frozen yogurt.

However, be careful and don’t just assume your frozen yogurt is healthy because it’s called yogurt instead of ice cream. When considering the health difference between frozen yogurt and ice cream, consider what flavor of dessert you choose, and how many grams of sugar in contains. Some frozen yogurt flavors are completely packed with sugar!
