Super exciting to see this post come through, and to see an active project launch. Co-Created is a venture studio and it is my 4th project with them. I have learnt tonnes being involved in these projects, about building great teams, and working at pace. The folk I’ve partnered with have included some of the most intelligent, thoughtful, driven entrepreneurs you could wish to meet. And on top, my big passion is using data and data science to make an impact on consumer engagement - in any and all industries – and in this case, with the Blood Donation industry. I love “data for good” and am pleased to have been able to build upon the impact technology I’ve been working on the last 3 years to make a unique product for the venture partner, Delcon.

🤘 MLs like teen spirit episode 27: The marmite metric!....rethinking NPS with Sienne#tldr: Doesn’t take long for Sienne to tell us how she feels about NPS!!! She offers insights into alternative measures for evaluating customer satisfaction and employee morale. In this episode, Sienne returns to discuss the contentious topic of Net Promoter Score (NPS). She argues that NPS, being over two decades old, lacks mathematical robustness, is inconsistent across different channels, and fails to predict future behaviour effectively. Instead, Sienne advocates for metrics like customer lifetime value, cohort analysis, and employee engagement as more actionable indicators of business success. Thanks Sienne for the support! Cheers!

My daughter just learned how to ride a scooter 🛴Here’s what this has taught me about B2B sales:1) Patience is key - Just as teaching your kid to ride a scooter requires patience, so does nurturing a B2B relationship. This has been a hard lesson since I have no patience. 2) Forgetfulness is an asset - Much like how I forgot to teach her how to brake, forgetting minor details in B2B sales can sometimes lead to new conversations: "Oh I already contacted you 12 times this month?"……..”sorry you’re upset at the frequency of my messages”…………”but…..at least you responded” 3) Overconfidence is key - Teaching her to scoot before she was ready? You bet. In B2B sales, showing over-confidence in meetings can sometimes make people believe you know what you're doing. Worked for me the last 10 years. 4) Celebrate small victories - Every little milestone, like the first successful ride without support, is a cause for celebration. In B2B sales, I apply this principle by regularly visualising the victories and the chugging of the beers after each deal. Then I move on to snapping out of that day dream, taking a deep breath, and shaking the magic 8 ball to figure out what to do next.
