  • YES you can use ground turkey AND ground chicken instead of ground beef.
  • Use different seasonings such as: Taco Seasoning, Chili Powder and Sour Cream to make Mexican Recipes.
  • Use Garlic Powder or Onion Powder OR a little garlic and a little onion.
  • A little curry powder and red beans.
  • Add veggies to the middle…like broccoli, carrots, green and red peppers, asparagus…the sky is the limit!
  • Use any kind of cheese you like! Mozzarella cheese is yummy and so is Pepper Jack or Colby Jack. Then sprinkle with Italian Seasoning! YUM!

Now follow these easy steps:

  • Spread Softened Cream Cheese onto Crescent Dough in pan
  • After you brown ground beef and ground pork, drain grease and rinse excess fat off of meat ~ I always rinse my meat off to remove fat.
  • Now pour your ground beef mixture on top of Cream Cheese
  • Sprinkle with Garlic Salt
  • Now top off with the other Crescent Rolls. The best part is there’s no need to separate crescent dough orroll out and press triangles together to spread it out. I simply lay it out and pull the edges a little like a blanket. It puffs up as it cooks and the little perforations cook together.
  • Add Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Then Top with the other Crescent Roll Package. You don’t really need to pinch together seams and just stretch a little to make a “blanket” I forgot to take pics along the way…but you get the idea. This is one of those easy recipes that you really can’t go wrong with.

Cook in a 375 Oven for 10-15 min. Remember your meat is already cooked so you don’t have to worry about undercooked meat. Just watch the top of the crescent roll doesn’t get burnt.
