It's a sunny morning on Day Two ofNike Outdoor NationalsandUSATF U20 Championshipshere at Hayward Field.

After an exciting first day of competition in Eugene, including multiple meet records, we can't wait to see what today holds.

Girls SMR: In a new Hayward Field record time,Minnetonka (MN) claimed the victory in 3:56.23, taking down the previous record of3:57.43. Westview (CA) runs 4:00.56 for second place, while the SFC Chargers (SD) take third, clocking 4:01.70.

Boys SMR: Newburgh Elite (NY) clocks a time of 3:27.70 to take the title. In 3:31.48, Yankton (SD) takes the runner-up position, while Greenwich (CT) takes third in 3:32.53.

Girls 2,000 Steeplechase: Victoria Rodriguez of Mercer Island (WA) clocked 6:42.53 to win the event. From Team Kentucky Elite, Tula Fawbushfinishedin 6:48.41 to take second. Third was Summer Wilson of JSerra (CA) in 6:49.87.

Boys 2,000 Steeplechase: Caleb Woolford of Spanish Fork (UT) posted a US No. 4 time of 5:54.52 to win the event. Josiah Jaquith of Eagles Elite (WA) placed second in a time of 5:56.04 - US No. 5. In third was Marcelo Parra of the Episcopal School (TX) in 5:56.57.

The athlete from Georgia won a U.S. U20 title on Thursday in the 400m, clocking a time of 45.62 seconds.

Mixed 4x400: JSerra (CA) set a new Hayward field record of 3:33.87, breaking the previous record of 3:34.66. La Canada (CA) took second in 3:38.00, while Bremerton (WA) took third in 3:41.13.

U20 Women's 1,500: Dylan McElhinney emptied the tank and clocked a U20 World standard of 4:15.80 to take the title. In second was Zariel Macchia, who also hit the U20 World standard, in 4:16.23. Shelby Jensen of Utah State finished third, running 4:32.75.

U20 Men's 1,500: Michigan's Trent McFarland clocked a 3:47.39 to claim victory and hit the U20 World standard. Carter Cutting of BYU tan 3:47.43 to take second, while Martin Barco IV finished third in 3:47.73 - both of these athletes also qualified for U20 Worlds.

U20 Women's 400: Zaya Akins of South Carolina crossed the line in 51.81 to claim the title. In second was Houston's Michaela Mouton in 52.88, while Olivia Harris clocked 53.25 for third. All three of these athletes, along with the top six finishers overall, hit the World standard time.

U20 Men's 400: Sidi Njie rolled to victory in 45.62. Jayden Davis of Arizona State finished in 45.92 for second, while Alexander Rhodes finished right on his tail in 45.93 for third. All nine competitors in this event qualified for U20 worlds.

U20 Women's 400 hurdles: Running 57.24, Braelyn Baker earned the victory and qualified for U20 Worlds. Jasmine Robinson came to a close runner-up finish in 57.31. Arizona's Keilee Hall clocked 58.88 to take third. The top six competitors hit the U20 World standard.

U20 Men's 400 hurdles: Vance Nilsson of the Arizona Flames dropped 50.23 to take the title. Premier Wynn ran 50.58 for second, while Xavier Branker of NC State clocked 50.89 to take third. Similarly to the women's event, the top six competitors hit the U20 World standard.

U20 Women's 800: Harvard's Sophia Gorriaran ran a time of 2:01.90 to win the event. Meanwhile, Ka'Myya Haywood finished runner-up in 2:04.59. In third was Makenna Herbst of ProCaliber Sports who toed the line in 2:06.45. The top five finishers hit the U20 World standard.

U20 Men's 800: In a photo finish, Michael Long toed the line in 1:47.54 to take the title. Villanova's Daniel Watcke finished runner-up in a close 1:47.59. Andrew James Casey of Wisconsin ran 1:48.41 to finish in third place. The top eight finishers hit the U20 World standard.

U20 Women's 200: Crossing the line in 23.02, Elise Cooper earned the event win. Taylor Snaer of Modesto Jr. College ran a time of 23.09 to finish runner-up, while Davenae fa*gan of Cincinnati clocked 23.45 for third. We've added six more U20 World standard marks from this race!

U20 Men's 200: ATL Zoom Athletic's Jaden Wiley earned his second title of the meet, running 20.82 and qualifying for U20 Worlds. Runner-up was Jesse Meyers of Penn State who clocked 21.18. Meanwhile , Jayden Jones of Sam Houston State crossed the line in 21.49 for third.

U20 Women's Shot Put: Florida's Gracelyn Leiseth marked down 16.65m (54-07.50) to place first in the event. Runner-up was Akaomachukwu Odeluga of Ole Miss, throwing 16.59m (54-05.25). Elizabeth Tapper of Michigan placed third with her throw of 16.24m (53-03.50). The top seven throwers in this event hit the U20 World standard.

U20 Men's Shot Put: Throwing 20.57m (67-06.00), Ben Smith secured the victory and hit the U20 World standard. Tyler Michelini of Arizona marked 20.18m (66-02.50) to place second, while Evan Martinez of Momentum Throws placed third with 20.04m (65-09.00) - all three athletes hit the U20 World standard.

Ave Maria freshman Michael Long, an athlete coached by Alan Webb and operating in the NAIA college division, won the men's 800m U.S. U20 title on Thursday over a field that included four athletes from the NCAA Division I power conferences.

U20 Men's Triple Jump: Karson Gordon of Jump Lander leaped 15.88m (52-01.25) to earn the title. Sterling Scott of Missouri jumped 15.77m (51-09.00) for second place. In third was Xavier Drumgoole who jumped 15.56m (51-00.75). All three competitors qualified for U20 Worlds.

U20 Women's 100 Hurdles: Ana Leise-Torian of Alabama A&M clocked 13.12 to take the title. USC's Nonah Waldron ran 13.32 for second place, while Rachel L. Mehringer of Indiana State hit 13.51 to finish in third place. All eight finishers qualified for U20 Worlds.

U20Men's 110 Hurdles: Auburn'sJa'kobe Tharp ran a U20 meet record of 13.12 to earn the victory, taking down the previous record of 13.21. Andre Korbmacher of FSU clocked 13.31 to finish runner-up. Third was Le'Ezra Brown in 13.49. This race had seven total U20 World qualifiers.

U20 Women's 3,000: After taking the victory in yesterday's U20 3k steeplechase, Kathleen Clute crossed the line in 9:30.50 to earn herself after title. Ellie Shea finished runner-up, clocking 9:31.75.

Girls 4x200: Bartlett (NC) threw down a time of 1:39.74 to win the event. Power (MI) followed, finishing second in 1:40.84. Meanwhile, Minnetonka (MN) clocked 1:41.01 for third.

Boys 4x200: Hustle (CO) crossed the line in 1:28.40 to secure the victory. We then saw a photo finish - Cent Dakota Resilience finished in 1:28.945 to take second, while DCP (IL) finished in 1:28.950.

Girls 4xMile: Forest Park (OR) finished in 20:45.88 to win the event. Del Norte (CA) finished runner-up in 21:15.65, and Pace Pushers (MI) placed third in 21:36.69.

Boys 4xMile: In a thrilling race to end the night, American Fork XC (TX) set a new Hayward Field record of 17:14.20. The pervious record was 17:19.70, which was also defeated by runner-up finishers Southeast Portland (OR) in 17:18.69. Third was Valhalla (UT) in a time of 17:39.66.
