Upgrades Since I Purchased the Van:
-Tile floor switched from wood laminate to Marmoleum, which is heat resistant, anti-static and easy to clean, anti-bacterial, and 100% biodegradable, making it sustainable and eco-friendly.
-Spare tire with worn treads replaced with new tire.
-Both driver and passenger seats re-done by Fibre New, Mesa, AZ.
-Passenger seat upgraded to swivel type by New Life Conversions, Phoenix, AZ.
-Weather Tech Stone & Bug Deflector and Side Window Rain Guards added.
-Complete dent and paint job performed by Phoenix Auto Collision, Phoenix, AZ.
-Smart tiles back splash installed by professional RV technician while I was in Quartzite.

For all the upgrades and repairs, including the original purchase price of $30,000, I have spent a total of $61,953.34 on this van.

How It Was Used: I put on a total of 14,000 miles beginning with camping locally (within 1 hour of home) for a couple years while still working 6 days a week; then for a month at Quartzite, AZ; then the Pacific Coast Highway; then to Minnesota.

Why I Am Selling It: I gave the nomad lifestyle a try and decided it wasn't for me. I am staying with family now and intend to retire and enjoy nature from a home base, rather than traveling around and living in nature.

I purchased this van in November of 2021 while I was still working full-time, 6 days a week, to go camping from time-to-time. My plan was to do the Pacific Coast Highway trip in early retirement, as well as try the nomad life. As a solo female traveler, I made sure this van was in top condition.

I read that if you find the combination of a Turbocharged Duramax Diesel and Allision Transmission, “Buy it and don't look back.” This, and the fact that I could stand up straight in this van were the reasons that I purchased it, after having a mechanic friend, who drove Duramax diesel vehicles for many years, perform a thorough inspection before I purchased it.

I appreciated the power that this van had while climbing the Donner Pass, in Nevada County, CA on the way to the north side of the Pacific Coast Highway, as well as the mountain pass to Vail, Colorado on my way to Minnesota. My first trip was to Canyon de Chelly in northeast Arizona in February of 2022. It was snowing and there were 25 mph winds. (See photo.) This van had no issues with the cold and the diesel heater performed incredibly well.

Oil change, air filter replacement and wheel alignment have been performed after my travels. Blackstone Labs engine report indicates the van is in “fantastic” shape. Oil and air filter service from Adams Automotive receipt indicates, “Everything else appears to be good at this time.” (See photos.)

The van has two issues:

I scratched the passenger door paint at a RV park on the Pacific Coast Highway trip when I brushed up against the sign for the space.

The right blinker causes the emergency lights to flash.
